"I've seen some things. Things no one should really be made to see. Things that I clearly and terribly remember in my dreams. But everyday is a new experience which brings with it new things. Sometimes better. Sometimes not. My hope is that these things have meaning long after I no longer do. Well beyond my time, these will continue, as they had been well before. My goal is to help the meaning of the things be understood as we know it. Perhaps, even just these notes will help someone know.

While the Syrneth are long gone, some of what they built remains, buried in stone and sand or beneath the waves. Much of these remains are little more than trinkets which, while valuable to collectors, have no interesting properties. However, some artifacts are much more than pottery and sculptures. Some of the artifacts contain strange power unlike any magic known to modern Theah. These polyhedrons are one such and I intend to decipher them."
